Simple front license plate bracket install!

Solved two of my problems...
how to mount my front plate of course, but more importantly now I’ve got a reason to use my handheld rivet gun.

For the DIYers, make sure your rivets are aluminum or stainless steel. Otherwise will rust in due time.
Whataburger is expanding. Maybe one will come to you.

What do the screws screw into? Just the plastic? Is there a nut behind the holder?

Might be a silly question but did you mount it upside down? It look like it would fit better the other way.

What is not clear is how deep the holes need to be drilled. Is it just through the plastic or through the steel?
