Do we have to interpret Lewton's postulate at 4:21ff - "Any geologically active wet rocky planet I think will give rise to life" - in the sense of a commitment to the assumption that life will have emerged on Earth several times? Or does the author perhaps think there has only arisen one organism the descendants of which have made Earth unsuited for abiogenesis to occur anew?

It truly is a mystery, how did inorganic matter become organic matter?
Maybe one day we'll find out, or maybe we'll never find out.

Of course every living thing started from inorganic atoms, but probability is too big it to be spontaneous!! So many things had to go right!!

So they think that out of completely dead material, life arises? Doesn't sound very scientific to me ;-) Maybe the earth IS a living being? As is the Universe (hence the movements)... Maybe what is not or hasn't been alive, cannot exist? Little do I know...

Any one with a bible can tell you that God created all things, for his good pleasure. His crowning achievement was creating mankind. Who is supposed to love and serve the Lord. Because he is Worthy.
