Note: In order to get to the screen that gives you the option of turning Tempo Matching on/off, go to the Menu Bar and choose View. then in the drop-down, choose "Media Explorer." that info was not in the video. Sorry about that!

You are so amazing! Lots of people make tutorials but so few people have teaching skills. You really explain things well and with brevity! I can't tell you how much frustration you have saved me. Thanks. Truly.

I dragged a mp3 file into reaper with the match on and the click is still off. Does it only work with loops?

Thanks very much for this! I've been doing a ridiculous thing of calculating the % of the speed of the loop that doesn't match, and slowing it down/speeding it up in the properties (while clicking retain pitch), but it's never completely accurate. I look forward to actually being able to use any loops I like now! On that note, does reaper retain the 'pitch' of the drum loops or does this result in the drum track being a mixture of different tones/pitches due to stretching the times of each? Many thanks again.

THANK YOU!!!! THANKS THANKS THANKS I love you!!!! Two weeks. I could not find it. Hours video tutorials. And one crying. I didn’t see this menu because I greatly narrowed the media explorer.

My metronome still doesn't match the drums :(

You're probably not gonna respond but how do I do this if I don't know the bpm of the loop? I watched someone else's video but it was way too confusing for me. I'm trying to edit a song I've recorded on my phone in reaper.

Great video, how do you actually get to the screen where you are given the option to turn on the tempo match? I just drag in my loops and I can't see any options

does this mean its changed the tempo of the loop or has it changed the tempo of the project to match the loop? I need to do the latter as i like the loop and want Reaper to match it in beats and tempo

the tempo matching option is not there

I agree with Emma! You all who make videos have got to start from the very beginning! How did you get to the screen that gives the option to turn tempo matching oin / off???? Video is useless without knowing how to do that!

To ALL video Have total newbies watch your videos BEFORE you publish them so you know better if you have produced them complete or not!

while tempo match half/double works for me, on/off doesn't... is it a bug or is it intentional? I'm trying to use midi drum loops.
