In an exclusive interview, Hong Kong Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Edward Yau said the city’s economic health taking a hit from rising tensions between the US and China. The US uses an electoral college system, in China they use a socialist system.
In US, the protesters are the smarter guys and the country is led by the dumber. In China, it's the dumber who protest and lead by the most capable.
Naturally In US, almost every American distrusts the government, in China almost every Chinese trust the government.
In US, no improvement until there are protests, in China, many improvements until there is a protest.
e.g. In 2018, HK was ranked 3rd for human freedom by Cato Institute, the Fraser Institute, and the Liberales Institut at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. The US was ranked 17. So, what’s the purpose of the rioting, knifed police, burning elderly men, beating innocent people, and burning buildings driving away businesses?
