To fix the error with preview, you have to use a SMBIOS that utilizes the iGPU. For example, 18, 3 works perfectly for this. Then, go into your BIOS and look for: "Advanced/System Agent (SA) Configuration ---> Graphics Configuration ----> iGPU Multi-Monitor ----> Enabled. Then right below that option, you should be able to change "Primary Display" to "PCIE". In your clover configurator, click on "Graphics" on the left, and in the menu, click on "Inject Intel". This should fix your issues with Preview.

I broke my system the same way by installing all the kexts and I had a very similar experience as you. It's a great learning experience!

If you’re having any issues with Preview, turn on the IGPU in BIOS. Sounds stupid, but it worked in my case when I had the same problem.

good build but go stock (vanilla).. Stock hackintosh runs just like mac and has lesser issues when upgrading OS. Just youtube vanilla hackintosh..

Shouldn’t use *beast tools by the way, should use a vanilla guide. For various reasons.
