Greetings all. Just an update on this video. One benefit for having Knulli installed on the Trimui Smart Pro that i didn't think of is that it basically lives on the SD Card. So if you have an extra SD card available you can definitely get it set up and see how awesome it looks. It is still a work in progress and there are some bugs (check ToddMcF2002's feedback in the comments below, thanks again) to be worked out but i think it is still worth a look even if you choose not to have this as your daily driver firmware on the unit.

This was just the type of guide/info I was looking for. The pros and cons, then quick install....done. Just got my Trimui Pro, and can't wait to start the Knulli setup.

Did you try this yourself? Doesn't seem like it or you would have noted the connectivity issues and Dreamcast problems. Should you install it? Why not? Its self contained on an SD card so all you have to do is remove the SD card to revert to the stock OS. As far as network transfer once you get it running it works just fine. This is an operating system image so if you can't figure out how to file share with SMB you probably shouldn't be messing with operating systems like Batocera or Knulli in the first place. If you can and you are criticizing having to use SMB I think your just being lazy (*cough* VladNerd *cough*)
