President returns from Congo-Brazzaville, Senegal.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today returned from a two-day working visit to Congo-Brazzaville and Senegal.
While in Congo-Brazzaville on invitation by H.E Denis Sassou-Nguesso, President Museveni held talks with his host in Oyo town situated in the Cuvette region. The talks centered on bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two leaders were later joined by their counterparts, H.E Felix Tshisekedi (Democratic Republic of Congo) and H.E Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe Eyadema for a mini-summit on peace and security, and transformation in the region.
From Congo-Brazzaville, President Museveni proceeded to Dakar, Senegal for a one-day working visit at the invitation of President Macky Sall who is the current Chairperson of the African Union (AU). The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest including the security situation on the continent as well as the economic development of the African countries.
President Museveni was accompanied on the trip by former Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi.
On arrival back at Entebbe international airport, the President was received by the Vice President, H.E Maj. Jessica Alupo, Minister for the Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda and the Head of Public Service/Secretary to Cabinet, Ms. Lucy Nakyobe. Others were the Deputy Chief of Defence Forces, Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu, Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Sorowen and Assistant Commissioner General of Prisons Samuel Akena.
