i have seen 5 videos on Writing task 1 made by you and im positive that the knowledge you teach on how to analyze, group datas and structure my thoughts will surely gave me a solid 6-6.5 band. I think the only difference from band 6 to 9 (for task 1) is mostly based on the lexical range that i have. But you absolutely helped me alot on coherence and cohesion, the grammar you use is easy to understand and remember. Thank you for your wonderful videos.

Here's the response
The diagram shows a before and after view of a central library over a span of two decades.

Overall, the library’s layout changed tremendously, for instance the entrance area now has a computer room and cafe replacing the reading room and the enquiry desk section. Similarly, the children ‘s books section and the digital corner of central library are upgraded to a lecture room and events area respectively. Apart from that, the central part of library has some minor changes as well.

At first upon the entrance on left there was a reading room but in the new design its been changed to a computer room. Similarly on the right side of the entrance the library now has a cafe, 20 years ago there was an enquiry desk for services like ticketing, book returns etc. Moving pass the above mentioned rooms, the tables and chairs have been removed and the pathway to the end is now empty. The adult fiction books section is now changed to the section where all reference book are kept. Moreover, the adult non-fiction books sections is replaced by an information desk along with some service machines and fiction books for the grownups.

Moving forward, the north-west corner now has a room for fictions book for the children and events like story telling with some seating arrangements as well. 20 years ago this place was used to keep digital stuff such as CDs, videos and computer games. Furthermore in north-eastern corner, children’s book area has been changed to lecture room now.

Hi. Thank you for your video. I have the IELTS exam for the next week :( and this is my answer to this test : '' The floor plan depicts how a public library has completely transformed over a period of 20 years.
Overall, the area has seen dramatic changes during this period, as several new features have been added.
Today, the tables and chairs which were seen in the center of the library have been removed. A new cafe, on the other hand, is just located to the right of the entrance, where there used to be an enquiry desk that offered tickets, book returns, etc. The adult non-fiction books’ section has been cleared to make way for an information desk, and self service machines. A computer room has been placed in the place of the reading room on the left hand of the entrance. In addition, the adult fiction books’ section that was sited beside it, has been relocated next to the information desk.
With regard to the children’s facilities, the children’s books’ room has been relocated to the last left room which used to be the CDs, videos, and computer games’ room. The book range in this room also changed to fiction type. In this room, storytelling event have been enabled, and some sofas have been provided for improving the convenient convenience of participants. ''

Real exam question: Given a diagram, same as this, between 2017 and 2019. What should be the tense for describing this?

Hi, its me again 😅. I have done an essay for this too, could you please review it? I feel like its similar to yours but worse

The diagram compares the layout of a public library between the past 20 years and its current design. Overall, major changes has occurred such as the removal of tables and chairs and replacement of older areas with newer ones, introduction of lecture room instead of the previous children's books area.

Upon entering, 2 new areas will be found on each side of your hand : a cafe and a computer room, which were previously a reading room for newspapers and magazines and an enquiry desk for booking tickets, respectively. Moving forward, all reference books will be seen on the left side, which was before a place for adult fiction books only ; in addition, adult fiction books along with other features such as information desk and self-service machines will be found on the right side. This introduction was instead of having adult non fiction books only.

Even further, a lecture room will be present in the front of the right hand side instead of children's books area, and a new area with sofas, storytelling events, and children's fiction books will be established on the other side, taking the place of the CDs, videos, and computer games area.

The diagram compares the layout of Central Library in the past 20 years and today.

Overall, the library has noticeable changes in their interior plan. The library has been renovated and some new features have been added.

In the current layout of the library, the tables and chairs had been removed.
