I have been trying to achieve this effect for a while now and I could never get the Torn Edges filter to look right. What I found was, for the longest time I was creating my files as 150dpi and in your video you create your canvas at 72dpi. Once I changed that, the Torn Effect works perfectly. Why is that?

When I add the 2nd filter (torn edges) everything becomes grey. What am I doing wrong?
