Hmm, I honestly don't see many changes in this version, other than being based on a more updated Ubuntu..

I am a huge Plasma fan but one thing that gtk based desktops nailed are the system settings.
It's simple and intuitive.

Like a lot of Linux and Windows users you didn't check out the column view in the file manager. Coming from MacOS - and a major reason I prefer to use a hackintosh - is what Miller columns or column view permits in terms of how easy it is to visualise the directory hierarchy. For example, when I SMB into my unRaid NAS multiple column view windows make it trivial to drill down through folder within folders and make direct comparisons. Very handy for example when comparing my SABnzbd downloads folders to my array media folders and organising things properly.

Things like a double pane view in Krusader are pretty clunky by comparison, though it gets the job done. On Linux DE this functionality has only attempted to be implemented in Pantheon - and I'd love to know if they've done a better job this time with v6.0. However it's like everyone's so used to accepting the restrictions of normal file managers they don't know what they're missing and don't think to use it when it's there!

i feel like a lot of the default applications are just too limiting. the browser doesn't have proper addon support, the email client doesn't support contacts, etc.

The light theme problem is something to do with qt5's theme-ing elementary needs to make a dark theme similar for qt5 to their gtk3+/4 theme

Minor update is trackpad gestures. You should try it on a laptop.

i really wish to switch to elementary os, but if i try any distributions im return to manjaro, becouse in manjaro i can get every thing, i have aur, official, snap and flatpak all in one software manager. also i get the latest featuers and kernels. soo can you convincing me to use elementary when it come in full version?

I like that you test on hardware. So many other lazy 'reviewers' spin it up in a VM, which doesn't do the distro justice.

I had tried this os but there was bad experience....copy paste issue from external hdd to my laptop....and i had rolled back on windows

I have an old 32 bit laptop with 4GB of ram. I have done some research and wanted to use ubuntu but it does not have a 32 bit version that is kept updated anymore. Which other linx distribution would you recommend for a 32 bit old laptop that is similar to ubuntu? Thanks for your help!
