Victim’s Father Reacts to Governor Newsom’s Death Penalty Moratorium in California

Marc Klaas’ daughter, Polly was only 12 when she was kidnapped at knifepoint during a slumber party, sexually abused and ultimately strangled to death by Richard Allen Davis in 1993. He was convicted of her murder in 1996 and sentenced to death.

Mr. Klaas’ reaction to Governor Gavin Newsom’s moratorium on the death penalty is raw and filled with the emotion expected of someone who lost a daughter in such a savage way.
