Russia's invasion of Ukraine has caused a split in the Orthodox church, as Holy Week failed to produce a ceasefire wanted by world leaders.

When he says they are one people he really means they are one land. And the Ukraine area of that land happens to be richer than 80% of the Russian area, so they want it.
