My interpretation: a guy meets the perfect girl, and falls madly in love with her. he soon finds out she's not perfect, and she has a dark side "your balaclava is starting to chafe" represented by the mask she wears to hide her ugly side. "And when she gets his gun" represents her starting to pull out the ugly in him, and he tries to fight her but he is so invested and in love. "We'll give it one more time..one more fight" represents him trying to keep the relationship despite the struggles it's causing. (Next half below)

I take these lyrics literally, due to the amazing music video. It's so tragic and as the male robber is shot, his love comforts him with telling him he looks "so cool". It's freaking amazing.

Although the lyrics are kinda weird and metaphoric, there is a strange feeling that you get obsessed with. And you keep on listening to it until you understand deeper.

I can't help thinking that the boy actually died in this song my reference is "now everybody's dead" for him he thinks everyone's dead but it was him. "driving my past school" way to the funeral, "he's got his suit on" and the girl instead of crying she rather said "you look so cool"
