Ram CUTS Production on the 2025 Ram 1500 RamCharger!

The upcoming 2025 Ram Ramcharger is a plugin hybrid Ram 1500 pushed ahead of the Ram REV fully electric pickup truck. The Ramcharger has a lot of promise with almost 700 miles of range and almost 700 hp but when will it enter production? In this video I will leak the production schedule for the 2025 Ramcharger and also when you can expect the 2026 Ramcharger to enter into production!

It's also a new platform, so I'm all for giving them a couple of years to get it sorted out, but I do applaud shoving the pentastar in it as it's already a known and proven quantity.

There won't be any 2025 ram chargers. The launch in April will be for pilots and testing. Those won't be sold to customers. After the 8 week pilot testing, ram chargers for full production will start as 2026 model year vehicles

I’ve been VERY interested in the new Ramcharger. I have some reservations about full-on EV’s, but this new truck is a game changer. It’s a great concept because you get the performance of an EV without the worry of the battery dying somewhere outside of Podunk, Iowa. The nearly 700 mile range is massive. My 2021 RAM 1500 with 3.6L eTorque gets me around 475 miles per fill up (26 gallon tank) but that extra 200+ miles range is a terrific selling point and, as I mentioned, takes away the concern about battery status. This is one I’m following closely. Thanks for the info!

I am impressed that they are doing it the smart way: In-line turbo six and used only as a generator when needed. That is awesome. Now, they they would only put an aluminum body on it that would be next level.

Absolutely waiting for TFL to test the snot out of that truck. I'm excited for it, but I'm not getting stuck with an overpriced and nose-diving asset like the Grand Wagoneer that doesn't do all the truck things I need.

I love the concept of this truck but am concerned about reliability. Ram as a brand doesn't have the greatest record of reliability. I'm very spoiled by my Tundra that when I want to go I have confidence it's going to be ready. I wish Toyota would make a Tundra with this drive train.

dude, that's absolutely not like a Prius. It's like a Volt. The Prius use the engine to mechanicaly propel the car, the Ram will use it as a generator and is in no way connected to the wheel

The only load the engine will have is the generator since no transmission is in the new build. Price is will be the key factor for sales of the Ram Charger

RAM needs to be more like Ford with their Powerboost non-plugin hybrid system. It's got a bunch of power, tows/hauls well, is fast, fuel efficient and it can power my house during a power outage. The best thing about is, I don't have to plug in the damn thing to charge the electrical system! I refuse to buy a vehicle that requires an extension cord and electrical outlet in order for it to work properly.

I think the idea is great I would love one! But I’m still waiting on my 2025 Ram 1500 tungsten which auto parking and on board power system was taken from my custom ordered truck! You can still order that option on website which is false advertisement! 10 months and 29 days and still 🤬 counting‼️
