Great information. I agree with much of what you brought, except perhaps I'd bring smaller versions of them (scissors, corkscrew). Love the idea of the sun sleeves.

I did the Camino Frances this past Sept-Oct and I loved my arm sleeves but I also used them on my legs when it was cold in the mornings as I didn’t bring any pants. 😅

The wide range of weather conditions combined with the need to fit everything in a backpack is one of the biggest challenges. Even by bike, you don't want to weigh it down with fully loaded panniers. Good ideas, thanks for the rundown.

Good video, only issue is referring to as a hike..its just minimalist travel, with a lot of walking, my ideal holiday!

Otherwise good tips. I would persomlnally take another set of days clothes and eliminate the
specific sleeping outfit. Gives more choice in going out of the house outfits.

Sounds like you covered everything needed. I'm the one that packs for every possible discomfort. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes the stuff is never touched.

We brought swimsuits. We were very glad to have them in Hontanas so we could use the wonderful hydrotherapy pool in Albergue Santa Brigida.

Buen camino y’all. I just got back from the French Way. I took basically the same things y’all did. Definitely take TP and the dog poop bags. I got caught out twice and needed it. I did see too much discarded tp along the way. My pack weighed 6.5 kilos. Your 20lbs is too damn heavy. I didn’t see very many birds or really any fauna for that matter.
