Google Search Console Bulk Indexing Status & Bulk Indexing Request using Google Sheet

Показать описание
In this video, I explain how to check the indexing status of bulk URLs on Google Search Console using a Google Sheet. You can also request the indexing of bulk URLs in the Google Search Console.
The Google Sheet performs the actions using ‘Google Search Console API’ and ‘Web Search Indexing API.’
What data do you get when you check the indexing status?
Page Fetch Status: Is the URL status fetching successful or not?
Coverage Status: The current status of Google Search Console, such as whether it is indexed, crawled, Discovered, etc.
Indexing Allowed/Not Allowed: If the Google Search console allows indexing of the URL,
Last Crawl Date & Time: The URL's last crawl date and time by Google.
Google Canonical URL: This is the canonical URL Google set for the page. This is not the canonical URL you set for a page.
Sitemap: On which sitemap did Google find the page.
Note: When you are checking the indexing status for bulk URLs, add less than 40 URLs per run. Because of the API limit with Google Sheets, it won’t complete the action for more than 48 URLs. That’s why I suggest going with 40 in one run.
The Google Sheet has a cell to select if the domain is verified with a URL prefix or as a domain property. You need to select it and type the domain name in the website address cell.
To request indexing of the URLs using the third worksheet, you must be an owner of the property on Google Search Console. The Web Search Index API only allows the owner to create bulk indexing requests. It does not have any limit to creating bulk indexing requests.
