To sell Medicare insurance or any insurance you need an insurance liscence, which not only cost money but in most states you have to have a company "send" you to the school. The shool is only a week or two. Then you have to pay for the proctored test.

Around here you need at minimum a degree to do bookkeeping and accounting. It’s not the best paying job for the work entitled. Some do well while most transition to something better.

Life Insurance sales is highly lucrative, especially if you work for a big company or agency. You earn really good commission and can hit $100k+ easily within a year. BUT you DO need to be licensed within your state to sell insurance and have to take a pre-licensing course, well in NY at least.
