Putting Zipper Heads on Invisible Zippers

You don't need fancy tools to put the zipper pulls or heads or sliders on invisible zipper. I show you on a #6 or 6mm invisible zipper but you use the same technique on any size.

I have watched several videos on invisible zipper repairs and I was starting to get so frustrated, but determined to fix it. Then I watched this one (yours) and it worked! Yahoo! Thank you so SO much! Awesome video.

My daughter's zipper head had come off a jumpsuit, she had asked me if I would try to fix it (it was only worn once) I knew invisible zips were difficult to deal with but after having watched your video and a bit of fiddling I could see how they worked, different from ordinary ones. Anyway I managed to sort it out eventually so thanks. Great video, very easy to understand and to see how it works. Brilliant

Thank you....thank you....thank you so zip head came off of my skirt that I was repairing. Most tutorials focus on fresh zippers, not already installed ones.
Your other video helped me learn what I was working with was a concealed zipper.
Used the second method as I don't own clamps.
Just much much gratitude 🙏🏽

This absolutely saved my Vegetarian bacon. I use new vintage zippers and often need to resize them. Just before adding the waistband I cut the top off the zipper and yanked the pull straight off. I was convinced I'd need to pull out and replace an otherwise perfect zipper insertion. Thank you thank you thank you. Managed to get the zipper pull back on even to frayed end of the zipper after adding a bit of fray check.

Great idea to cut away some of the zipper tape. I was struggling with a zipper with the lightweight tape.

How important are both of the bayonets? Chipped one of them. Will it impair the mechanism of the zipper?

Tried and tried but couldn't get it. Was a size 3 zip & puller was so small and so hard to hold so the tool would've been good but don't have 1. The fabric at the end of zip kept unravelling & I kept cutting it. I eventually gave up. The problem was that I ordered a bunch of invisible zips instead of normal & thought I could turn the puller to other side but no way. 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for your Vid though.
