This helped me. For some reason on my laptop running windows 8.1 the Security Monthly Quality Rollup update wouldn't install on first attempt for me. It worked after I installed it a second time but it was getting really annoying and it was too time consuming installing a second time once a month.

So I gave this a try three weeks ago and today I installed the Security Monthly Quality Rollup update on my first attempt with no issues. Thanks Dee z.

everytime that I turn the pc of it end up in a update and when i start it up again it start with config error. So is it not just easier just to turn on your pc with the button and not with software. you would not end up with update right.
