I Have To Build My First 5 Star As A DPS - Random DPS

We finally got our first 5 Star DPS.
These will be our DPS's as we complete Genshin Impact's content.

- SERIES RULES -
1: First 4-star character I pull is the DPS on one team

2: First 5-star character I pull is the DPS on the other team

3: I have to pull on the Standard banner until I get my first 4-star character.

4: Every banner I wish on afterwards is decided randomly by a wheel picker.
a) The banner the wheel picker chooses I have to do at least 5 wishes on before I can spin again for a different banner.
b) If I like the banner I got I can continue to wish on it until I get a 5-star.
c) Once a 5-star is obtained on said banner, I have to spin the wheel picker for a different banner, where the same rules apply.

tbh i think losing the 50/50 makes the challenge a lot more interesting than just using a character that's meant to be a dps! i love this series, excited to see u build her!!

Physical Jean my beloved (or sunfire, her on lavawalker in a mono pyro team (or two pyros and a sucrose/kazuha) is actually cracked)

Her and Bennett paired is very good though. Bennet afflicts your character with pyro when standing on his circle and jean is one of two characters (that i know of) that the spreads the element your current is currently afflicted with, meaning she can apply pyro+swirl to use lava-walker set. Her burst triggers a lot as well.

Bennett, Xiangling and Deyha (if you lose another 50/50 or get her from banner) would be good teammates for a sunfire Jean. However deyhas spot can be used as a flex for another anemo

If your looking for a weird/very not meta (or just a late game challenge) way to dps her, you could run clam on her with a physical% goblet and double ATK circ and sand as her NAs can also heal, but her best will still be the main proc

Overall, jean is a pretty easy to build dps as everything for her is ATK scaling, a physical damage goblet and NA attack priority fix pretty much all her weak spots and when you run her double anemo I’m pretty sure shes also able to proc Pale Flames 4 set.

When you get to gearing for endgame you could build Jean full em and run her with either Bennett or Dori since I assume Bennett will be on your Kaeya team and make a Sunfire Jean team. Typically she’s in more of a support role on those but depending on who you run with her she could be onfield.

I really love this series. I enjoy watching people try to build teams with what they have not just the same characters all the time.

I am a Kaeya main sience I start playing in sep. 22.
Play him on cryo and phys. Depends on the situation.
It was the best decision I ever made to build Kaeya as my Dps from the start. He is c6 now maybe givin back the dedication I put in...who knows ;)
I farmed and get the Mistsplitter for him. I have to admit that I don't expected him doing so much and flawless damage. Kaeya is crazy simple and fun to play. And on top of that, he is a awesome versatile character. You can throw him in almost any party and he will not dissapoint.
After playing him for so long, my dedication to build Kaeya even better is still very present and I will never stop to improve...hopefully
Little tip:
After some testing of Absolution (weapon) on Kaeya:
Mistsplitter is still his best in slot. The elemental damage bonus you get from it, not just on Kaeya but also for the rest of the team is to relevant to oversee.
Absolution has slightly more crit dmg but in the end Mistsplitter is putting out more dmg in total regardless if it is a cryo or phys build.

My two cents... (1) you don't need to keep spinning the wheel if your DPS was already decided; (2) you can build Jean as a driver for the team or maybe a reaction carry (like with Sunfire) instead of being built for Physical or Anemo ADC.

One thing that I think would make on-field Jean work is if you get Furina to do some taser or mono-hydro stuff, but there are [RUMORS] of no Furina in 4.6 so ughhhh

Good video, Also its easy to deal damage with jean and shes kind of a dps-healer so you shoudlnt worry about that to be honest

I'm glad that you finally got a five*, even though it might not be the best one you could have gotten. I've seen some really powerful jean builds so I'm sure you con power through. also...
