Szeth is my favorite side character in Stormlight. He’s up there with Kaladin and Shallan in my heart so I am VERY excited for Stormlight 5!

I devoured the storm light archive last year and it immediately became my favorite book series I have read. I absolutely cannot wait to read storm light 5.

The fact that Brandon gets" done" with certain projects after he finishes them makes me so thankful as a reader because it shows me he puts literally everything he has into making sure the book comes out the best it possibly can. I don't think we could be any more spoiled.

Szeth is one of my favorites. The scene where he plays around with other sky breakers near lake using paint balls drove me to tears. It was not a emotional scene by design. But, just to see this broken man shattered in mind and body to hundreds of splinters, experiencing something normal that others would experience. That just drove me to tears. Thank you Mr. Sanderson for these updates. They make me respect you even more . 🙏 (Namaste) to all my Indian Stormlight archive fans out there

The Wheel of Time was a huge impact on my life, but the best part, was introducing me to Brandon Sanderson. "Stormlight", is now my favorite series of books, by far. Best characters, and the story is so damned good. Reading a biography and history book right now, then back to Way of Kings. Need another read through. Can't wait for this book to come out, but please, take your time.

Who else is really excited to see how many permutations of "Szeth (insert currrent title/surname here) of Shinovar, did X on the day that Y happened" Brandon can come up with for each POV/Flashback chapter?

As much as I wish the wait for new books in a series (esp Stormlight) were shorter, I am happy to hear you found a system that works for you and get's you excited to continue my (an many others) beloved project. Glad you found a way to keep sane and not burn out on such a big project. Really looking forward to whenever you're ready!

I have recently come to the realisation that a Szeth book is a Nightblood book and that got me even more excited!

Super excited!!! I am able to use a headset where I work all day so I've spent a good 60% of that in the last 6 years 8 hours a day listening to Sanderson's books I'm in double digits on all of his books. Every time I listen to one I find a new Easter egg or something hidden. something odd has been happening. I'm so mentally invested that I get teary eyed a lot more than I use to at certain moments and its getting worse lol. it use to be just the big scenes like when syl say's ive remembered what kind of spren i am, when Kaladin speaks ideals, or when Elend uses atium for the first time but i just finished "The Way of Kings' again and Tefts scene where he says "why here why now why me" got me.

Sanderson is a pro. Plain and simple. Weekly updates, outlines, sticking to a schedule and an insane work ethic all the while creating stories that are absolutely gripping. I feel like every author can learn from Sanderson.
