Medieval renaissance and victorian Art Nouveau were hugely instrumental to psychedelic 60s fashion and art as well. Oh, I love how 3 of my favorite eras in time connect!

The 60's also share a lot of fashion trends with the 30's, which are basically just the 1920's without the dropped waist. It's my favourite period of fashion

in home design it took me a long time to realise that so much of what seems typically bohemian 1970s is actually art deco revival. 40 years after the 30s!

I always look at the similarities between the 60s and 2000s, the run colorful patterns, statement jewellery, high necklines, etc. Its so fun looking at how fashion repeats itself so much but at the same time its completely different
