How to remove a car badge.

Old badge or new, this is a step by step demonstration of how to properly remove your badge.

You'll need the following items:
String
Rubbing Alchohol/Adhesive remover
Cloth/towel/rag
Plastic scraper (or fingernail)

Use a heat gun on the letters before using the string to pop the letters off, more of the adhesive will come off with each letter and make the second part a lil easier.

I live in Palm Springs where it has been 112 degrees everyday this month (give or take a few degrees). I put a car cover over my vehicle and let it sit out in the sun all day. The CHEVROLET letters? They practically slid right off when I took the clear nylon fishing string to to pieces with the end result. 😊

You can get a rubber toffee wheel for a drill that gets the glue off in an instant and leaves paint untouched

Wrong! A rubber decal adhesive eraser drill attachment is the way to go. Heat the emblem, floss it off, use the rubber wheel attachment. I removed an emblem completely clean in five minutes today.

This is NOT how to do it. Heat the badges up first with a hair dryer moving it side to side then use dental floss to remove the badges. String will scratch the paint

These comments are bullshit. Keep your badge on that's the point. I bought the skeleton and didn't think I would stick it on the paint. I did. And it's cool as cool. Just stick it on the paint it's cool life is short if you don't stop and look around once in awhile you might just miss it
