I love how they hid Jake in the background until the last car pulled away, and then "If You Were Here" started playing. Then, after Jake waves at Samantha, she turns around to see if anyone is behind her. Classic and priceless directing. One of my all time favorite movies.

It's funny how my parents were in their 30's when they saw this movie in the theater. I asked my Dad, "What made you and Mom want to see a "teen" movie?" He told me that it looked funny.
Now, 40 years later, my parents are in their 70's, and this is still one of their all time favorite comedies.
It's a classic that will never get old.
