Red Velvet Cool Whip Cookies

Ingredients:
- 8oz Cool Whip
- 1 Egg
- 13.25oz Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar

Directions:
1) Mix Cool Whip, egg, and cake mix together until fully combined
2) Fold in mini chocolate chips
3) Take tablespoon sized portions of the dough and toss them in powdered sugar
4) Bake at 350°F for 14 minutes on nonstick sheet
5) Let cool 5-10 minutes

This is one of those concepts that blew my mind the first time I saw someone make them, and instantly knew it was something I had to re-create and try for myself. It won't get any simpler, and the variations are endless with the different flavors of cake mix you can use. They will be very soft once coming out of the oven, just like any normal cookie, so letting them fully cool as an important step. You can definitely skip the powdered sugar, but it is a nice aesthetic touch and makes the sticky dough much easier to handle. Again, this is one that I can't recommend trying enough, go wild with it! 🤗
