HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low OG QS 'New York City': Review & On-Feet

To honour the life and legacy of Keith Hufnagel, HUF released a trio of Nike SB Dunk Lows last month, coinciding with the retailer's 20th anniversary. Releasing alongside a San Francisco and a special "Friends & Family" edition, today I'm reviewing the third pair in this trio - honouring HUF's birthplace of New York City. 2 of the best releases/SBs this year. Paid resale for the NY, and it's my favourite of the pack. Maybe even a top 5 release of the year for me 💚 Just shows you how good a dunk can be when Nike puts in the effort! Every GR should be this shape and quality!

i think the reason these feel so different from other SB dunks is because they are modeled after the "OG" SB dunk silhouette, which was narrower and stiffer. ive heard several people complain about the fit and comfortability of these compared to other dunks/SB dunks

Awesome review as always Sean .. I copped a pair for retail .. got San Fran but weren’t my jam .. ended up swapping for Gulf 58 .. then the other day got offered a trade for one of my pairs of Why So Sad for the NYC so jumped on it .. currently on way .. excited 🙏🏻

Took an L on the release but picked up the NY pair from Stockx for less than $260! Glad it isnt just me who felt that these ran a bit small. Went true to size and they definitely squeeze my foot

I like these the most out of all the Hufs and always had love for the Yankees growing up. Even as a Braves fan. But if u love baseball every kid has some type of interest with the greatest sports team in sport history⚾️

There’s some mix views about the sizing somehow I feel that I have more space for these OGs sizing I’m like you slightly on the wider side. Somehow I feel like downsizing by 0.5. Go it for retail. I prefer the nyc colorway than San franc.

My outsole was warped when it came in, QC was basically non existent. Ended up selling them since it'd bug me with the poor build quality. Nike needs to really get their sh!t together.
