HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low OG QS 'San Francisco': Review & On-Feet

To honour the life and legacy of Keith Hufnagel, HUF released a trio of Nike SB Dunk Lows last month, coinciding with the retailer's 20th anniversary. Releasing alongside a New York City and a special "Friends & Family" edition, today I'm reviewing the third pair in this trio - honouring HUF's founding city of San Francisco. Snagged this pair as well, and I'm very stoked on them. Right now, I unfortunately have to wear them without the insoles until they break in a bit. They've already loosened up quite a bit, but they definitely run snug for those with wider feet.

I’m from SF so to me, this pair is way better than the NY pair. I removed the lateral and medial center panels (pretty easy but time consuming) and the tie dye underlay is pretty special. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Hit 3 pairs haha, 2 SF 1 NYC. I’m B&R in SF and I’ve been skating for 12+years so this shoe was made for me. So I’m very biased regardless of the skinny tongue and stiff black leather. I cut mines immediately cuz It’s the closest I can get to the original high. Very glad to see you make a vid about these

SEAN, take it from a fellow Sean, it is more than worth your effort to remove the side panels from these bad boys. They go from really nice Dunks, to now “stand out in the crowd” Dunks. All you need is a brand new razor blade box cutter to gently, slice out the two layers of material. If you take your time, you’ll then realize how easy it is to do. Before you know it, you’ll be on your third panel. Overall, you’ll do it in under an hour. So good luck! And keep up the great work on this channel Sean!

I grabbed New York pair, which is what I wanted. Prob gonna cut the inside panels and go from there. Went w my TTS on these thinking the absence of the large tongue would allow me to get away w an 11.. Def run narrow w the doubled up material on the sides, I shoulda stayed w my SB size 11.5 🤘🏽

Friend hmu for retail on the SF, and grabbed the NY pair for resell. Some of the best dunks this year! Leather is stiff, but breaks in quick and is great quality. NY pair is my fave, and contender for dunk of the year 💙 Only part I'd change is removing the HUF on the toe (the swoosh can stay), which you can probably do quite easy with some acetone.
