If Debby stalls along the Southeast coast this week, there could be dire implications for locations in Georgia and the Carolinas in term of flooding and storm surge.

Even though Debby may officially be only a tropical storm along the Georgia and Carolina coasts, its impacts from life-threatening storm surge and flooding rain, as well as the effects of strong winds on property and utilities, will result in Debby being a 3 on the AccuWeather RealImpact™ Scale for Hurricanes in the United States. #debby #hurricanedebby #flooding #flood

I’m in Southern NC, the last time I heard of catastrophic flooding my house was under 22 feet of water 🤯

Here in Western Columbia County Florida the rainfall has been very dramatic. Lots of people flooded in and unable to get out without jacked up trucks. Thankful for it not being anymore severe than it was. There will be a lot of cleanup to do for the coming weeks. Wind damage and water damage 💔
