This dude is a prime example of working backwards. Dude comes up with a point, and the works backwards to find things that might back up his point as opposed to finding information and then forming an opinion based on it.

It's subtle, but it's a huge difference. The main point being you can almost always find something to back up a point, but it's basically correlation vs. causation type of deal.

I live in the Piney Woods of Texas. Even the forrests here are mostly artificial, the natural vegetation is gone it's all just planted pine trees in most of our national forest. Nothing but standing two-by-fours. There are probably very few natural forests left in the entire state.
