Показать описание
This 'Midday Lecture' webinar from Dementia Research was delivered by Gina Martin, Founder & Director of the Bob and Diane Fund.
Gina worked for National Geographic for 21 years before founding the Bob and Diane Fund, an award for visual storytelling about Alzheimer’s and dementia. Gina shares the story of how the Bob and Diane Fund came to life and in the process gives a glimpse into the trajectory of her mother’s illness and the effect it had on her family. Gina will present what the fund means for the visual artists as well as the awareness it brings to the disease and the caregivers that lose so much of themselves in the process.
In the webinar Gina talks to the importance of visual story telling in dementia, and how a picture can paint a thousand words.
