This is part two of installing the cheapest ebay diesel heater with remote in our caravan.

In this episode i'll show you:
- How to install the fuel pump
- How to get the fittings into the tank
- The fuel filter I used
- How to cut the whole for the vent

Thanks great video, I am about to purchase one of these for my campervan for the winter. When you say you disconnect the LCD screen, does that fully disconnect power to the unit too? or just the controller? Ie.. If I put the LCD controller on a power switch, but left the main unit connected full time to my battery, would this allow me to switch the screen off at night (and when not in use) but still have the heater running?

do you get any fume smell from the heater or any safety concerns, would like to put one in my van but I'm paranoid about fumes etc

Why does the tank have to be in a dark place?

What did you do with the fuel pump electrical cable? Run through same hole or took it thru new hole??

Seems to me you should not use the fuel line either. Also, proper hose clamps. I would just be really worried about the Chinese quality. It's one thing for the heater to break down, it's quite another for it to spill diesel fuel all over because of cheap lines.

If you have camper van and tap into the diesel fuel tank instead of this tank that’s all good yes

Get rid of that ridiculous intake silencer. They create more noise and restrict airflow. Get a decent air filter if you feel you need something. Something off a small motorcycle or stationary motor is fine.
