(Picking 136) How to use the 'Indirect' method to crack a combination padlock

There are 3 main ways to open a padlock:
1. Pull-picking method
2. Indirect method
3. Probing
... here I show the indirect method.
Some methods work better on different padlocks.

I have that same lock. I must go try this method now. The usual methods didn't work for me. It's a TSA lock so it has a three wafer wafer lock that takes only seconds to pick. It is too tight to get my decoder in and the feedback from pulling was inconsistent. Thanks for this info.

Great tutorial!! Have you ever heard of the Collins combination lock? It has three dials. I had bought a small coffee can of keys and small tools. This was in the bottom of the can. I figured out the combination is set as 0-0-0. I cannot figure out how to change the combination. It has a metal button on one side and a red tab on the other. It also has a cable attached. I was just playing with it when it opened. I didn’t start at 0-0-0. I haven’t seen anything on YouTube last I checked.

Hi nice vid. I have a question. I hace a 3 number lock but what ever i.try i cant open it. Because the 3 rings lock in without openingin anything
