The truck will idle fine but when you put it in gear it struggles to run and ultimately stalls. If you have a suggestion please comment.

Solution: It was a bad pickup coil in the distributor. We replaced the distributor and it runs great now!

I have the exact same problem with my 1998 chevy c1500. 305 5.7 litre. put into gear, stalls immediately.New fuel pump etc. has to be a relay or module.if i figure it out.i will relay you the info.Good luck

it could be your carburetor you should clean it out and make sure all your airflows and everything is working properly
