What's ironic is, no one is harming America more than Americans themselves.

Collapse begins when you believe in the myth of your own invincibility.

As a Chinese, I would like to remind Westerners especially Americans we do not have any desire to "take over" or become "numba wun" we just want to be a better country than yesteryear socially, culturally, technologically etc. This world is more than big enough for the US and China to thrive and work together for all of humanity. This mindset of one side wins the other loses is not traditional Confucian values we have had for thousands of years. It is not a zero sum game that Western politicians always trumpet.

All of these problems result from an economy that is unstable due to a number of uncertainties, such as housing concerns, foreclosures, worldwide swings, and the pandemic's aftermath. To restore stability and spur growth, all sectors must give urgent attention to rising inflation, slow growth, and trade disruptions.

My brother told me 40+yrs ago while he was in university that the comparison between Rome and current USA is that both stopped being producers, and became consumers.
Well, here we go.

What causes this collapse is simple; greed.

Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are early informed and equipped, I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid economy crisis, and even pull it off easily in favorable conditions. Unequivocally, the collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich

60 years old Mike Tyson boxing match. Didn’t care. It was a distraction from what’s going on anyway.
“The Roman Colosseum was built to distract the Roman people from political turmoil, economic troubles, and social disparities. Built as a way to keep the people of Rome entertained and distracted from any ideas of uprisings, the Colosseum stands as an iconic monument to imperial Rome and its cruelties.”

As a Russian, who was born in late 80s in the USSR, in the period when the empire was collapsing and then growing up during one of the most dreadful periods of Russian history, I wish you guys never experience it. Cuz’ when your country is in chaos, people live in shit and crime thrives, nothing good can happen.

Unfortunately, at least in my opinion, I see that US right now is pretty similar to the USSR in 80s: stupidity of its leaders, external pressure, internal pressure, wars, crime, inequality and huge debt. In spite of all damage, lies and humiliation the US did to my country, I still wish we can be friends one day and you never go through what we went through some decades ago. Love and peace from Moscow❤️

Reason No. 6 - Moral degeneracy, empires fall because their leadership becomes incredibly morally decadent and is in fact one of the biggest common denominators.

A collapse has began!!! Rich people know this.... they are hedging... through hedge funds. It costs them about 6% a year to do this. Those that aren't rich are not hedge and are at great risk in the bubble of all bubbles with the debt at all time highs. The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, The stock market's volatility, coupled with a reduced income, is making me anxious about having enough for retirement.

As a person that witnessed the fall of the Soviet Union from the inside, the major marker of the impending collapse was a sharp increase of industrial and infrastructural disasters. Every week there was a fire at some factory, a bridge collapse, a train derailment, etc. I look at United States right now, and I see exactly the same thing. Literally every week there's a train accident or a fire at some industrial facility. To me the similarities are striking.
