i can learn from both sides. i dont care for the snobbery from old money, and i wouldnt be flashy or foolish like some new money. if i become wealthy i would be considered new money, and i wouldnt want to fall into any obnoxious ways of either new money or old money. i would be low key and wise with every dollar, and would like to avoid old money snobs and new money posers

Lets get this straight. Old money is inherited and new money is earned{worked for, a job, an idea}. Knowledge without character produces arrogance! So old money kids have never learned to suffer a little, but become spoiled brats. Old money kids go to college with parents money, and get knowledge, that is where they lack character. Working for it provides self worth and perseverance. I think i know about old and new money, growing up a millionaires kid. My father was worth in today's dollars of around 128mil. That chip on my shoulder went away many years ago. My father never gave or handed me money.
