Overpacking is always hard to not do! Packing the same palette is so smart!

Wear your biggest items while traveling! Like a hoodie or jacket and wear your largest pair of shoes, like runners or boots! Saves so much space!

I'm studying abroad in Spain for a whole month and have never packed for a trip this long or traveled internationally. I am STRUGGLING especially since it's winter and always an overpacker

I try to keep at least a quarter of my suitcase empty when packing to go and I always make sure or at least try to keep my luggage under 18 kg because that gives me around 5 kg of free space for when I come back

I'm going to Ireland for a month this July for a student exchange, and I'm so excited but so freaked out about packing! I'm trying to avoid checking a bag because I hate the idea of anything getting lost, but I don't know how I'm going to get away with it. The biggest struggle is that I have to be prepared to meet the dress code for my program - so that means long pants and a blazer! I might just have to buy a couple shirts when I get there...

I went to France for 3 weeks and just needed a 40 l backpack. My sandals take up a lot of space. I still had more than I needed. When I look back and think of all the stuff that I just carried around and the money I wasted to pay for it to be taken on a plane, or being annoyed because I had to carry it.


Five years ago I went to visit a friend for four days in Madrid. It was September, it was warm. I did not want to pay extra for another bag so just my regular backpack. I had:
1x jeans shorts
1x sleeping shorts
2x sleeveless shirts
4x underwear
4x socks
I was wearing leggings, a t-shirt, a bralette, and a jacket.

Toiletries:
1x toothbrush
1x small tube of toothpaste (now I use tabs, more eco-friendly)
1x floss
1x small deodorant creme
1x soap/gel bar
1x comb

1x Phone charger
1x Fanny bag

I decided to never fly with more than hand luggage. It's awesome and cheaper.
