Yes. For a 3x3, we detour to the middle after fixing the lower left corner. For bigger matrices, it's better to think of as working down from the diagonal entries, left to right, and then reverse once above. I have videos for both 3x3 and 4x4. - Bob

show that the vectors x=y+λv and w=u-λv have the same length.

I figured that the two vectors must add up to zero because they are antiparallel vectors. I just dont know how to compute this all together.
