I'll be 86 next month and have been crocheting since I was 5 years old. I can quite sincerely say that this is the very best tutorial I have ever seen - the best instruction with no time wasted. You are an absolute treasure

I literally cannot express how proud I am to have completed this, it took me about a week because I kept messing up but omg I am so glad I stuck through it. To anyone struggling like I was and feeling let down that other (way more experienced people) were able to do this first try, you've just gotta keep going and then once day we'll be as good as everyone else <3

I literally never would’ve guessed that that is how to read the pattern, thank you so much for walking through it in such detail

I've made about a hundred granny squares in the past week and my muscle memory was really fighting the single crochet. Regardless, this was very easy to follow, thanks!

I have been trying and failing amigurumi for about eight months. I can’t even tell you how proud I am holding this little ball in my hand! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! 🥳

This took me about 3 hours as a complete beginner, but this was such a good tutorial! I barely started learning how to crochet yesterday. This was very fun to do and i hope I can learn more and make more complex things!

Finally, someone shared that the acrylic yarn I've been using is fuzzier than cotton! Wished I would have known that a month ago when I started learning. And you gave me the idea to start a book with projects and their directions. Thank you!

i totally made an oblong instead of a sphere because i kept miscounting my stitches 😅 but i'm just proud to have learned the concepts in this tutorial, such as reading patterns and the decreases and the like!!! thank you again for your amazing crochet videos!!!! yours are the simplest easiest and down-to-the-point-est of all the tutorials out there!

I am 100% sure I miscounted (Didn't use a stitch marker so that's what I get) but I successfully made a "mostly" circular amigurumi! My first actual project, success!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! The first time I’ve held a crochet hook was 4 days ago, and I was able to complete this tutorial in two evenings! I’ve loved all of your tutorial videos so far, your explanations are clear and easy to follow, the best I’ve found on YouTube!

After 6 years of crocheting and 2 years of amigurumi I’ve found out I’ve been doing it wrong. I was crocheting all my amigurumis from the inside. So my needle was on the inside of the ball. Just found out yesterday that it’s supposed to be on the outside! Going to try to re-learn myself to crochet the “right” way. It will be tough but I’ll try!😅

Such a clear tutorial! At first I found the reading pattern confusing but then as I got the hang of it I found it sooo helpful! You explained everything so well and I was able to make my first ball! I'm soo proud of myself as I'm a beginner to crochet. Thanks! x

For someone who has never read a crotchet pattern. You are a very patient teacher. My first attempt was so much fun. Ball came out well. Acrylic yarn was a fuss. Thank You!
