I remember watching the Jetsons as a child and seeing the video phones. I remember thinking not only will that *NEVER* happen ( 😬 ) I didn’t even _want_ them to exist for the exact reason they said Judy was afraid to be seen on them. I also remember thinking that I didn’t want people to see the face expressions I was making in case I was uninterested in what the caller was saying. 😂
It’s CRAZY how much has changed since I was growing up in the 70’s and 80’s!!

In 2150, people will watch the Jetsons and think the cartoons just depict normal life.

I use to like this cartoon when I was a kid, I always thought of how things would be like in the yr 2000, and here I am watching this on my hand computer (forget phone lol), and it's already almost 2020.

There's another clip on YouTube that shows George using an electronic newspaper, and it's so close to the way it's done online with a web browser. He presses a button to change pages, and it almost goes "click, " and he even presses a button to see a video related to a newspaper article in much the same way we click on a hyperlink to bring up a video.

8. People movers (or the “Jetsons Walkways”, as I like to call them) - The treadmill walkways that moved people around. Although they’re only available in limited areas like airports. And I think they were invented before the cartoon. But they do exist to an extent. I actually walked on one whenever I visited an airport.

I was in Croatia in 2002 while there I visited a 🐎 farm with show horses. They had several giant treadmills that the care takers used to exercise the horses. This place was pristine, just picture perfect.

did you know george jetson was born in 2022? the year the jetsons take place is 2062, hes 40, and with the level of tech we have today, it wouldnt be out of the realm of possibilities that in 40 years time, we could have a rosie the robot esque maid
