I swear if I get through this whole video without a single 'the key to lubing' I'm tearing my Taeha types poster

The ratio of likes to views for this guide is unsettling.
I mean my word the amount of detail and clarity for this guide is unreal.

By far and large the best stab video - I am new to all this and your broke this down right. You have this edited right, the right pacing, perfect.

My guy taeha made me buy dielectric grease and Teflon grease half a year ago and now he changed opinion. My guy

I'm not even trying to do anything in the video, but I just wanted to say this is one of the best tutorial presentation styles I've ever seen. The shots all look so good, so many close-up shots for each step, giving a time stamp in case somebody wants to skip a step that isn't crucial to them, clearly explaining different approaches and differing viewpoints people into keyboards have... good stuff, great video.

Imagine telling your parents you're buying "lube, 'films', and syringes" without any context

Taeha, I want to let you know how amazing this method is. I lubed my stabs while watching this video, they went from super rattly to so perfect. This is also my first time lubing stabs, and they are stock stabs too! Keep up the good work <3

every time i see taeha’s intro it feels like it’s a part of some kind of pixar short film. the music and the visuals give that kind of vibe

I've watched stabilizer lubing guides by many smaller YouTubers. And Taeha's guide is still the best. No one else covers what to do when you underlube and overlube, as well as the stabilizer testing process.

Just used this video guide to fix the irritatingly awful squeak on my wife's Drevo keyboard. It's been bugging me for years, and now it's smooth and quiet. Thank you so much!

3:47 filing the clipped stems with a nail filer is also a nice touch as it made the stem as smooth and perfectly flat as the pre-clipped stabs like Durock, etc.

I'm building a GMMK pro White Ice, yesterday I spent 5 hours lubing and filming my 82 switches, I work on PC's for a living and I thought I could do the switches in 3 hours tops, oh how wrong I was! Films added so much more time to the switch lubing process, all that's left to do is my v2 durock stabs, I bought lube and grease for this build, and I think I'll still use the grease on the stabs. Very helpful video as always Taeha thanks a bunch!

Relatively newish mechanical keyboard enthusiast here. Have bought a few keebs over the past month or so and only just got into modding. (first mod was a tape mod!)
Found my way to investigating stabilizers when, after trying different switches, keycaps, and applying tape mod, I still wasn't *quite* getting the sound I wanted. Realized it was likely the stabilizers.
Your video helped me a lot! This sort of detailed walkthrough that also doesn't waste your time along the way was exactly the sort of content I was looking for. Thanks! 🙂

Bought a 5ml vial of 205g0 and some Durock V2 clear screw ins so I can do exactly what you did for my first build. Your professionalism inspires confidence.

The syringe one is very helpful! I built my keeb a month ago and I didn’t lube my stab wires well so it rattles a lot and now I just realize if I want to fix the stabs, I’ll have to desolder everything on my board so I fixed it with some piece of tape to reduce the wiggle room. The rattling noise is still there but just a little but still, I wish to remove it entirely. Never thought of this syringe method before. I’ll give it a try. Thanks Taeha!
