Thank you, Alton, . for the years of wonderful and whimsical educational entertainment. You are a national treasure. The world needs more of your particular brand of light-hearted, if not a tad-bit dark, humor.

One additional word of caution: if you live in a state or country where there is a fire warning, DO NOT COOK OUTDOORS and save your deep-fried bird for a less dry season.

My favorite technical term has always been "Catastrophic Failure" but "Rapid Unplanned Disassembly" will definitely be added to the lexicon.

Thanks Alton for an amusing set of Danger Birds. Your production value is an improvement over most any TV content.

Alton you’re the I’m here from day one of good eats. I remember, back in my day, they would air select episodes for free on air tv. My dad and I bonded over watching it at our humble beginnings.

I love when you get to do your own thing. This series gives me Good Eats and that's the best shit ever. You and Elizabeth were a shining light during lockdown. Thank you for that. I have been watching a lot of Cutthroat lately to avoid just about everything else that is being talked about right now. So, yup, you are my safe space.

Have been doing it for years, but you inspired me to become a chef and while I've been able to tell you that in person once, and I'll keep doing it as often as I remember.
Thanks, AB.

Rapid Unplanned Disassembly—I laughed uproariously! I loved this video series.

In the early days, rocketeers used extremely pure hydrogen peroxide to cook their turkeys. If things didn't go well, the hydrogen peroxide would dissolve the turkey, the apparatus holding the turkey, etc.

I really do love your derrick.

You got me thinking on how to do that with other stuff.

Large enough tree limb, home swing set. There's got to be a few other options. Then you could use a nylon strap with a metal tensioner buckle. Use the strap to strap your D-ring and pully on. Then you have a super portable version. You could use the nylon strap and buckle to attach it to the ladder as well. A heavy duty buckle option is a Cobra buckle.LOL Quick strap turkey derrick.

I miss your cooking science Alton!!!

Love it. Please don’t retire. Where there is a will, there is a way. Get Good Eats back and get on TV. There was no one like you!

Only infrequently on YT at the moment, so "Happy Happy, Joy Joy!" when I discovered my favourite American TV chef & misanthrope is back. A quick catch up on the previous episodes to be shattered like a turkey's glass coffin, as this was the conclusion. All to compendious, short & sweet, leaving me bereft, that apart from February's book release, we'll have to wait another year for Alton to grace us with his presence.
Excellent video sir. Don't stay away so long. 🦃

Thank you for posting these. And now I'm a little bit sorry that it took so long to get to them.
