Honestly the graphics look worse than 2k17. I'm not spending another 60$ for the same exact game over and over again. I'm done with 2k.

I really think live stepped it up this year...I might get live on PS4 and 2k on Xbox one....To me the biggest downfall for 2k is the VC you have to spend just to become halfway decent...You can damn near buy live off of the VC you gonna have to spend in 2k...At the end of the day it's a video game and you shouldn't have to spend so much money after you buy the game to play the game

I care the most about on the court gameplay. I prefer running plays. 2K's presentation is tacky while Live was very modern, upbeat and fun. I've been playing 2K for over 6 years but skipped last year. The changes have become incremental that it wasn't worth paying that amount and Live was still behind. This year I'm thinking Live is good enough to pick up. But I don't know if they have a big enough play list to go through and if the plays and strategies work well. Any ideas?

His review is like this. Say you have 2 kids. One kid brings home nothing but A's and B's. The other one brings home D's and F's. Report card day comes and the smart one brings home mostly A's and one B as usual. The other brings home 1 A, 2 B's, and a few C's. Of course you're going to praise the kid that showed tremendous improvement more than the kid with the typically great grades.

I been playing 2k since 1999 on sega dreamcast and im buying live fri 2k has nothing left for me itw not fun anymore i actually switched to live last year but ijs im back to live where it all started

In this case with NBA 2K19 being a polished version of 2K18. I'm ok with it. 2K18 only needed cleaning up. Graphics already looked good (Art direction is a subjective thing and completely different for graphics). My league is what i mostly play. NBA live 19 looks good, but it's offline modes are really lacking in terms of modes and A.I. 2K is getting ready for Nextgen.

2k got vc crazy over the past 2 years they killed it there. If Live can clean up the gameplay and make the franchise deeper they’ll be on top again.

They put out a pre order before releasing any gameplay or anything then release gameplay and it's the exact same as 18 ? Going with live this year it's way less stressful and don't have to worry about vc

I played both games and I think the 2k still has the live beat in terms of simulation basketball. While the live is a blast to play, it can become very repetitive and frustrating when you play a ranked head to head match and that error code nba-pdc error. I’ve been blowing my opponents out by a large margin and the game will just randomly disconnect even tho our connection was smooth. And of course I never get the win and one time they gave me a lost even tho my opponent quit. I tried to give a live a chance but I’m not spending any money on a broken product. Good job ea smh

2k wins for the offline gamers just based on depth of the modes alone. Once Live gets in-depth with their offline modes franchise etc. they’ll get over the hump
