The reason I have trouble understanding Algebra is because I dont understand "why" Im solving the equation. The equations seem arbitrary to me because I dont understand the "reason" I am solving them. I need explanations with pictures with balloons and puppy dogs or some shit.

I just came back from reading up on how algebra applies to real life: After learning how to mathematically divide up a set number of shopping items into a specific number of shopping bags, then formulating proof of exact amount of money required to pay for the items + change required in order to balance the transaction, i immediately realized:

If you're really honest about it Alan chebro is a math system that is no longer really needed because it adds a bunch of extra steps to solve very simple problems.

I can remember when I took algebra and and the teacher would always get really mad because I never showed my work. I never needed to, I could just sit there and look at it use common sense and basic math and come up with the answer much quicker than I could or anyone else could using algebra.

Not always would look at my teacher and say do you use a calculator and the answer would always be yes and when does the calculator show you your work or does it just give you an answer. Doesn't matter how you come to the answer if the answers correct it's correct.

Then in the military when we got into explosives how much to use They always try to push off these equations and again abnormally just using common sense would come up with a much faster answer that was correct.

Algebra is an archaic math form that if you're just completely honest with yourself isn't really needed anymore.

And the reason I say that is because if you already know all of the variables then there's no need foran equation.

One of my favorite examples given are ones it go similar to this....

If you buy 10 items, how many bags are you going to need for your 10 items if each bag only holds 3 items?

1. How do you know each bag only holds 3 items reitems?
2. Whoever said all 10 items are the same size?
3. That's very simple divide 10 by 3 So I would need 4 bags.
4. I could just use 5 bags and put 2 items in each bag and then I'm not stressing the bags to their maximum capacity.

The real answer is you dont use algebra in real life. And if u ever do... The works already been done for simple problems. Just plug the shit into a calculator and it spits out the answer.
