Doesn't matter what I do, I ALWAYS spawn in last location, I changed it to aparment, random, restarted the game, switched between open lobbies, invite only lobbies, nothing, and I mean NOTHING works...

I have a penthouse but I can’t spawn there for some reason

I actually had been doing this and it was spawning me in front of the casino until it randomly glitched out and started spawning me in that trash town up north even though I haven't been there at all today. Now it won't let me spawn at the casino even after setting it up again. It'll just spawn me at the LS Car Meet where I was initially spawning, or occasionally in other random places. It's the whole thing a giant hassle. Also really starting to get annoyed that they were apparently incapable of giving us the option of defaulting to an invite lobby instead making us start in publics before manually leaving. I just started it up and it thankfully put me in front of the casino, but I also immediately got spawn killed by some asshole. Thanks for helping me fix the first issue though,

Well i did that and saved it by finding a new lobby, i did spawn at the casino, but then i spon the wheel, activated airplane mode, and when i rejoined i spawned in my nightclub and my spawn location was at my nightclub somehow.
Edit: You actually have to quit the game, just finding a new session to save wont work
