Minecraft How to Change Spawn Point

Here's a quick video showing you How to Set Spawn Point in Minecraft on XBox one. This principle is similar on other platforms.

The spawn point is where your character will appear again if you are killed. It's the place you first enter the world you create. YOu can change it either by creating a bed and sleeping in it or by using the /spawnpoint command.

Here's another scenario where changing your spawn point would be nice. Found this out the hard way.

- You've built a house and stuff at your original spawn point and set up a base.
- Later, you find a better location and you build that up to be your base instead. Now you have 2 bases.
- You're out exploring far away from your base and you sleep in a bed you carry with you.
If you die after that sleep, you'll be sent to your original spawn point and not to your new base. In this case, sleeping in a bed won't help and you'd want to change the spawn point with a command.

can you do this when your second player? Not turning on cheating but sleeping on a bed and having the compass point at it? It keep pointing to my and other players first spawnpoint.

I cant get it to go in that specific area. I just spawn around the area, like 5 blocks away or 3 blocks away. Im using this for a kit pvp map and nor having a spicefic world spawn messes everything up.

How do you make it where a command block will repeatedly set a players spawn somewhere so if they like place a bed and then break it, they will go to that spawnpoint instead of world spawn

Sucks that I cant get no more achievements cuz I have to "cheat" cuz whenever I sleep the spawn doesn't go there for some reason
