It’s been too long since I made a new Instant Pot video! I’m BACK!!

Check out this video showing you Instant Pot Syracuse Salt Potatoes. They are so delicious that I just had to share! This recipe is on several different sites, but I first heard about it on This Old Gal.

I halve her recipe for my family of four using 1.5 lb baby potatoes, 1/2 cup salt and 3 cups water. Whisk together your salt and water and let the salt dissolve in the water in the bottom of your pot. Scrub your potatoes and add them to your post. Replace the instant pot lid and turn the valve to sealing. Set your pot to manual high-pressure for 2 min. Allow steam to release naturally for 15 minutes. Turn the valve to release any remaining steam. Drain the potatoes in a colander and allow them to dry. Drizzle with butter if you’d like! For a little crunch, put them under the broiler and in your air fryer for a few minutes (totally optional)!

Perfect weeknight side! If you enjoyed this video and post, click the like button and share with your Instant Pot loving friends!

I’m thinking these could be made on the stovetop faster than in the instant pot by the time it comes up to pressure, the 16 natural release pulse cook time.
