Imagine the noise. Like seagulls. But huge.

What's cool is that the same behavior occurred more than once across a vast expanse of time, like convergent behavioral evolution on an epic scale.

It’s so cool to think about flying animals that were not birds eating shelled sea creatures that were not shellfish

Finds like these should remind us that animals living in similar environments often act similar too

I’m in oregon, not close to the coast but not too far either and on the sort of coastal mountains right before the coast on 199 you can see a bunch of ammo bite fossils in the blasted out rock that carved the highway. It’s pretty cool.

Coprolites are the real underdog of fossils

Cool! It's fun to think that they used to flock like birds.

This is the first time I ever considered being a poop collector. So cool!

If there's was one thing I would want in this world is to be able to see how the prehistoric world was like 😊

I watch a lot of animal videos including a lot of bird videos, and especially parrot videos. I've been watching cockatoo videos the last few days and just marveling at how cure and intelligent they are, and thinking these personalities have been evolving a long time. I'm looking at them as dinosaurs and wondering if other dinosaurs had as much personality as them. What I wouldn't give to observe these pterosaurs playing with each other the way parrots play.

Imagining a Pterosaur catching an Ominite is the most realistic pokemon battle the Earth has ever seen.

If they found ammonites in the droppings, then it had to be the smaller species. I know there were some ammonites the size of a small car and others that were barely an inch wide. Pretty sure ammonites could be considered evidence of diving behavior in pterosaurs as well.

I’d like to think that, similar to some modern birds, it was a breeding or nesting grounds for these majestic animals.
