Three great lineages of Kaimeran pterosaur call the known world their home. The tallest, giants called titan storks, gallop across prairies while the smallest, called batwing snipes, swarm after flying insects. The tapejarids, rulers of the skies, will be covered next week!

Songs of the Inland Sea is the sequel to Tales of Kaimere! It is a nautical anthology, with all six short stories and novellas taking place in aquatic settings. There are heists on a ship, a desperate chase through a marsh, and a survival story from the perspective of a killer whale!

The sunrise titan is a beautiful yet terrifying animal. It was very interesting to learn not only about the species themselves but also how each of them interacts with humans
..and now I want a pet anurognathid.

When I was a kid, I was mugged by a seagull for my cheeseburger. Can’t imagine how much worse rat peckers would be, their bites must really hurt.

Influence of Prehistoric is clearly seen on some of these designs. Maned stork and sunrise titan have some touch of Hatzegopteryx while titan stork gives me some Phosphatodraco vibes. I like all redesigns for azhdarchids of Kaimere but I would prefer more intense red on the necks of sunrise titan. Titan stork is my favourite of that group.

Aneurognathids finally got some love. Althought still I think bat and aneurognathid rivalry is weird taking into account nightjars, potoos and frogmouths which are more like aneurognathids and cooexist with bats for very long time without problems.

Love the sunrise titan and anurogntahuds. The sunrise titan's “horns” looks like the horns on marvel Loki's helmet xD. Love it.

Also the second Anthology should arrive next week! I ordered it in December, but our mail is really slow.

Beautiful. The designs of these pterosaurs are great. I like to think that most of these them are viewed in a similar way as birds are on Earth. They can either be a pest or a welcome presence. The exception to this rule would be the larger ones because those are much more dangerous to people and any fauna within their size class. Can’t wait for the tapejarid episode. :)

Note about the 12:27 to 12:45 description : In general, we evaluate the size of animals following how high their shoulder/withers are compared to the ground (for the quadrupel ones of course). The mass or points where the head, neck or horns can reach don't count at all in this evaluation.

"Aneurognathids"? Shouldn't it be Anurognathids? "Aneurognathus" would mean "breinless jaw", rather than the real world animal Anurognathus "anuran [frog] jaw".

I am becoming more fascinated with pterosaurs after watching this series. I'm in development of a pterosaur in my fantasy world project even bigger than your Sunrise Titan!

I love pterosaurs! The fact that Kaimere has such a diverse group of these amazing animals is awesome. I wonder, are there toothed birds like Hesperornis on Kaimere?

Any good animated stories? That would be glorious! I adore 'different' or alternative natural histories, and yours is worth a deep dive!'

After the last pterosaurs of kaimere video, the others in line will be about the Wild dogs, Snapping turtles, Permian islands, Bokodu, River monsters (large freshwater fish) and Elephants.

A really exciting list !

The fluffy tail on the titan stork and rat catcher kind of reminds me of the ones on rabbits and other grazing animals, to confuse/dissuade predators, as well as to warn other members of the group and grant enough time to escape.
