Also, showing the materials, the build and the final product in such a short time is awesome. Not 20 minutes of rambling but just simple ideas from your perspective which can give us a newer one for other builds... maybe, who knows.

Whenever possible do not join the end grain end with screws. Rather use pocket screws as the grain end will not grasp the screws as well
