How does this monitor stay in comparison to the mini-LED VA Panel AOC Q27G3XMN? Also, would you still choose this monitor over a good ips without mini-leds, or is the hdr1000 makes this monitor worth it. Curious more about the gaming perspective, both high fps multiplayer and high quality low fps single player story games. Would the quality on those HDR Single Player games much better than a regular IPS?

i own the new z13 2025.. that has a sharp 180hz screen. So was thinking this for my office. Wanted to know at that resolution, does the text show any tearing like on a 1440p va panel or will it be sharp here? please let me know soon :)

I been using this monitor for the past 2 months now, i really feel it's not that bad for the price of MYR1349 during promotion. Coming from a regular edge lit backlit AOC IPS lcd, it is an upgrade for me. The HDR during movies and even during games is just great for me. Can't beat an OLED but still great for the price. Since 1st day usage i just follow the setting as recommended on Tom's Hardware review and done.

I have this monitor, and the local dimming issue where the circle is almost gone doesn't happen on mine. I believe this was an issue in older firmware versions. My monitor is running firmware version 1.0.06 (HDR ON windows + monitor)

If the local dimming of this monitor is that bad, would you recommend buying a regular LED monitor with more or less the same specs? Or this xiaomi mini LED might have other advantages besides the bad backlight response time?

Hey, great review! As an avid tech reviewer watcher you covered everything I needed to know! I've seen a lot of talk online about the Koorui GN10, AOC Q27G3XMN, & this Xiaomi monitor compared to each other. Not a whole lot of reviews on the Kooruio or Xiaomi so I appreciate it. Just going off specs would you go with the Koorui or AOC over the Xiaomi? Those limited settings don't look great on the Xiaomi for the $360 price. Having trouble deciding

Your LD testing for Local Dimming High and Low looks too different from what I'm seeing on mine and other reviews. It's far too dim.

There's a software bug where the xiaomi g27i pro monitor doesn't properly switch LD when you swap from SDR mode to HDR mode causing HDR mode to look far dimmer than it should be. On my panel I can rectify this by simply setting LD off then back to high which results to the correct LD brightness. Factory resetting it also works. Also found that if you lower the brightness in SDR mode then switch into HDR mode with the hotkey, it directly affects the brightness as well.

Might want to check on that because my LD low looks way better on the RTing LD test than your LD high.
